One Saturday in January I was sorting out some of our equipment at church when 4 scouts and 2 leaders arrived at the garage door; they were obviously training for the Brow Hike. The scouts pored over the map, checking the marked route, and then the party set off in a westerly direction towards Mytholmroyd.
Half an hour later they were back and I heard one of the leaders say, “OK, now put the map the right way round and let’s try that again!”
