We run the following events every year:

The Brow Hike
A competition challenge hike over 2 days for teams of 4 Scouts, Guides, and other youth organisations in March each year.

The Calderdale Hike
A fundraising event attracting runners and walkers from all over the country coming to follow our routes of 16, 26, and 36 miles in April each year. Map reading and route finding are essential.

The Calderdale Mountain Bike Marathon
A fundraising event attracting cyclists from all over the country coming to follow our set route of 26 miles in October each year.

 

The Cubs & Scouts also take part in the following events:

Jamboree on the Trail
Run in May each year – Scouts all over the world all go hiking on the same day and share what they have done.

Jamboree on the Air
Run by Calderdale Raynet and Halifax & District Amateur Radio Society, Cubs & Scouts get to learn something about communication and are able to pass greetings messages with other groups throughout the country and beyond by radio.

And, of course, loads of hikes and camps and other events throughout the year.
