Summer camp was supposed to be in June as usual, but unfortunately, the campsite was nearly full on the weekend we picked. We would be stuck in between others on the main field – we like the back of the woods where the kids can roam free but within sight. So September it had to be. The forecast the week before was for torrential rain, but fortunately, that didn’t happen and we just had the occasional short shower.

Loads of things happening over the weekend for Cubs & Scouts; zip line, archery, crate stacking, air rifles, vertical challenge, den building, games, backwoods cooking, the Scouts cooked their own tea on the fire.
