First hike since lockdown and it was good to get out and about again. This was a trial to see if we could do it with safeguards in place, and if successful we will take the Cubs out next.
Everyone had masks and we were reasonably successful in keeping them socially distanced. Scouts are a bit like magnets, fine while you are watching and holding them apart; but as soon as your back is turned they all clump together!
An easy 5.2 mile Sunday afternoon stroll, out by the old railway track, climb up to Norland Moor, down the moor, and then back home.
Only 4 Scouts, but it was enough for the first attempt.
