Sunday 1st December saw our annual Christmas party run by the SPYS (St Paul’s Youth Supporters).

The party weekend for the Cubs started with a train journey the day before to Halifax to go bowling and eat at McDonald’s and back to Sowerby Bridge by train to round off the night with a sleepover and a film – Despicable Me 2.

Sunday morning started with parade where 2 Cubs were invested. Following parade, the party started with lots of silly games, followed by food – pizza & chips, buns, cakes & biscuits.

The final game, “The schoolmaster has lost his chalk” went down great as usual with everyone joining in.
