This photo again seems to match the topography of Severhill Clough at Soyland. Date unknown.We went to camp up Soyland, leaving Station road at 2-30 pm arriving at the camp about 3-15 pm. Pitched tents, light fires etc: then prepared tea about 5 pm. At 8 pm about 6 more came making a total of 14. We had supper then had a singsong around the campfire before retiring for the night about 11-15 pm.

I awoke about 4 am on Sunday but I did not rise until 6 pm. [?] We brought the groundsheet out to air, and packed our bedding. Then we went for some wood for the fire (about 6 of us). Then on our return we got breaker ready. My menu was bacon, likewise several others.

After we had finished dining we washed up and tidied the camp up. Then several had a wash including my-self while some had a bathe and others went a stroll.

When it was drawing towards dinner-time, we commenced peeling potatoes etc: for about an hour we were all busy, then busy eating. After washing up was finished some went another stroll till tea-time about 4 pm. Then we had tea and a rest till it was time to pack up for 7-30 pm. We had a very enjoyable weekend.
