Scouts

The Scouts section is for boys and girls aged 10 – 14 years.

The Scout section currently has 15 Scouts (Oct 2024) and room for more.

We entered two teams into the Brow Hike this year and a lot of the time was spent learning the skills necessary for this: hiking, navigating, using stoves, cooking, first aid, working as team etc. They didn’t win, but gained a lot of experience for next year’s event. They are also currently working towards their Skills Challenge.

Other activities on the programme include a Patrol Camping Competition,  a hike to Stoodley Pike to celebrate St George’s Day, and hopefully time for a trip sailing at Green Withens.
