We started the Scout Electronics badge in January and have progressed through parts 1, 2 & 3 which cover basic components, what they look like and a simple explanation of how they work, as well as how to identify the values and connections. Last night we started on a more interesting subject – digital electronics what logic gates do, and how you use them.

After we had discussed the operation I demonstrated this great little free program at https://logic.ly/demo which lets you design and test your own circuits, hopefully, the Scouts will have fun playing with this during the coming week.
