Next Event - 19th & 20th September 2020

The Brow Hike is a hiking competition held annually over 2 days in March each year.
The event takes the form of an incident hike over 30 Km (19 miles).with teams carrying
all their own equipment for the event - all that is supplied is water and a bin bag!

Due to concerns over the Covid19 virus, the Brow Hike this year has been postponed to 19-20 September. Please read the statement from Hike Control about this.

Set in the scenic Calder Valley in West Yorkshire, the hike broadly follows the old Sowerby Bridge Urban District Council Boundary. Some legs of the hike are timed, while others are navigation tests with the exact route not disclosed until the day.

The hike is open to teams of 4 people aged between 11 and 15, although the total age of the team when added together must not exceed 56 on the day of the hike.
